Most of Us Like Solicitors Shock!

Despite the sometimes bad publicity for lawyers and solicitors, the overwhelming majority of their clients actually have good things to say about their quality of service.

In an independent survey of 183 law firm clients in the UK in 2008* (using either conveyancing solicitors, personal injury solicitors, employment solicitors, family lawyers, divorce lawyers, criminal lawyers) almost three-quarters (73%) of those surveyed rated the quality of legal advice received as either “Good” (39%) or “Excellent” (34%). Another 15% rated the service as only “Average” but only 12% rated as either “Poor” or “Very Poor”.

The above is of course an average and services from specific law firms and the experiences of individual clients can vary considerably.

So what do you think? If you are a legal services provider is 73% satisfaction rate good enough and how do you our own client satisfaction ratings compare?

If you are a client of a law firm or solicitors please tell us about your experiences.

Anyone have any similar experiences of related professional services firms like accountants, estate agents?
